3D printing and other maker technologies have always been an interest of mine, and as a side project I decided to build my own 3D printer. The model is based off the Tevo Tarantula, with many custom upgrades.

The image on the left is the entire printer which has a build volume of 200x200x200mm. The overall part accuracy is +/- 0.1mm depending on the part and application. I have used this printer for personal and school projects ranging from RC vehicles, to custom lithophanes, and many other mechanical assemblies. The printer was constructed by re-modelling an existing 3D printer and with the help of a very active 3D printing community I was able to get my printer fully functional.
