Linergy Mfg is a subsidiary of the Linamar Corporation where I worked as a mechanical engineering intern. The largest project I worked on involved using SolidWorks to design and draft machine cutting processes of hypoid & driven shaft from a raw forging for Honda.

I also continuously increased production line efficiency by 3D modelling gauges, tools, railing/guarding and by creating work instructions.

Another important aspect of my internship was to implement a safety placard system to identify all machine hazards (electrical/mechanical).

Furthermore, I organized cycle time information by using VBA to create a master document with automatically updating data. Overall I learned about 3D Design, VBA Coding, and Time Management.
