At Able Innovations I worked as a Product Development Engineer where I helped develop the primary drivetrain system for a patient transfer device. A significant amount of workplace injuries in hospitals are due to awkward lifting situations while transfering patients onto CT beds and therefore one of the goals for Ablle Innovations was to develop a robot that completes this task in a dignified manner for all parties.

I developed skills in tackling difficult engineering problems by following the design process to create solutions.
